Halloween Art Treasure Hunt

Not every Halloween activity has to end with a bag full of sweets.

The Halloween Art Treasure Hunt encourages children to slow down, look closely and see the spooky season through an artist's eyes. Instead of simply spotting items, players must find them and sketch what they discover, turning an ordinary walk, party or Halloween outing into a creative adventure.

Can they find something spooky? Something orange? A Halloween decoration? A carved pumpkin? Every item on the list challenges children to observe the world around them and capture it on paper in their own unique way.

What makes this activity particularly fun is that no two completed sheets ever look the same. One child might fill their page with detailed drawings and artistic flair, while another creates quick sketches and focuses on finding every item as fast as possible. There is no right or wrong way to complete the challenge.

Perfect for Halloween parties, autumn walks, neighbourhood trick-or-treating, homeschool activities, classrooms and family outings, the hunt combines creativity, observation and a little seasonal adventure.

It's also a wonderful screen-free activity that encourages children to engage with their surroundings while creating a keepsake they can look back on long after Halloween is over.
